faq·dental implant engine
what dentists ask before they start.
Plain answers about the AI, the money, the rollout, and patient privacy.
the ai
about ava.
Will patients hang up on an AI?+
Some will, and that's fine. Ava says she's AI up front so nobody feels tricked, and anyone who wants a person can ask at any time. The trade is a real answer on the first ring at 9pm on a Sunday instead of voicemail.
Does Ava pretend to be a person?+
No. She discloses that she's AI in her first sentence and again whenever asked.
What does Ava say about price?+
Only the wording your practice approves. She always explains that final pricing comes from the doctor after an exam and a 3D scan.
Can Ava tell a patient if they're a candidate?+
No. Ava never diagnoses. Candidacy questions go to your doctor after an exam and scan.
What happens with an emergency call?+
Ava stops and directs the caller to 911 or your emergency instructions. No selling.
Can we change her name?+
Yes. Ava is the default. Your practice can choose its own name, and she still introduces herself as your AI assistant.
How do you know she's doing a good job?+
Every script change is tested against 30 to 50 simulated callers, every real call is scored automatically, and flagged calls are reviewed weekly by implant sales people.
your practice
about fitting it in.
Do my setters or front desk lose their jobs on day one?+
No. Ava starts on after-hours and overflow calls so you can compare results side by side. She takes over implant leads only when her numbers match or beat your current team.
Do I still need a treatment coordinator?+
Yes, for the consult. Dental Implant Engine handles everything before the patient sits down. Your doctor and TC close the case, with a written brief on every patient.
I already have a website. Do I need a new one?+
You keep it. Ads point to a dedicated implant funnel page, and your site's implant pages and forms route into the same system.
Does it work for multiple locations?+
Yes. Each location gets its own setup for hours, doctors, pricing, and calendar, with shared reporting.
What makes a practice a good fit?+
Clinical capacity for more full-arch cases, a financing partner, a budget for ad spend, and a team that can run consults quickly after they're booked.
How long does setup take?+
About two weeks to build, then a shadow launch before Ava takes over implant leads.
money and results
about the numbers.
How much does it cost?+
$2,500 per month per location, month to month. Ad spend is separate and paid directly to Meta and Google.
How fast will I see results?+
Qualified calls can start in the first week ads run. Expect 60 to 90 days of data before the system is fully tuned.
Do you have case studies?+
Not yet. Dental Implant Engine is new and we're onboarding founding practices. We won't quote results we haven't earned. You can talk to Ava live on this site right now.
How do you measure results?+
Every call, qualified call, consult, show, and treatment start is tracked in Pinecone OS, with cost per lead, per qualified call, per show, and per start.
privacy and compliance
about patient data.
Does the financing check hurt the patient's credit?+
No. Prequalification uses a soft credit check through your lending partner, and soft checks don't affect credit scores.
Does Ava collect Social Security or card numbers?+
Never by voice. The lender's secure page handles anything sensitive.
How is patient information protected?+
Patient information runs through vendors under Business Associate Agreements. Every call opens with AI and recording disclosure, and texts only go out with consent, with opt-out on every message.
Is it legal to call form leads with AI?+
Forms carry clear consent language covering AI calls and texts before Ava calls anyone back. We recommend a quick review with your own counsel as part of onboarding.
